Okay, I'm a little rusty when it comes to iMovie, so bear with me. Anyway for your viewing pleasure, here's some excerpts and some photos from my trip last weekend to Columbus. As you watch, remember that all these weird things are sold at thrift stores, meaning that once before someone owned them. I personally enjoy the Governator picture..."keep pumping". Hilarious.
Random fact: the safety dance, the song in the video, was playing at one of the thrift stores. I felt that it was fitting.

You can just feel the anger radiating from his body. You're gonna get the horns!
ReplyDeleteOh my God! I'm so jealous. I can never find decent wall hangings when I want to. I especially loved that panther on a piano. The Ahnold one was cool too. Also, if I were there, I would have bought up every single one of those Backstreet Boys tapes. I can't wait to go to Columbus next weekend if even a fraction of this stuff is there. Did you get a chance to visit Rag-O-Rama? I idolize that place (though technically, like the A. Underground, it's not thrift).
ReplyDeleteExcuse me, that may just be a cat, but it looks like a panther.
ReplyDeleteStrange tale of the backstreet boys tapes...almost every chain thrift store has at least one of those tapes. They are everywhere...I could have picked up more than a hundred by now.
ReplyDeleteThe panther picture's title: Ebony and Ivory. I must have missed that in the picture.
This was fantastic. I appreciate your comedic ventures into the land of thrifting. I also think it's great that your friends came along for the ride...literally. And, I'd have to say, the song "Saftey Dance" just adds to the video tenfold.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work! I loved your intro titles!
